My daughter Kristin found this antique bird feeder online and bought it for me. I absolutely love it!

Arizona Vacation 10, Bullards Beach
Our last stop was Bullards Beach Campground on the Oregon Coast. We went on the beach near the Coquille River Lighthouse to hunt for rocks. We found quite a few and enjoyed the sun going down. It sure was a wonderful trip, and we especially enjoyed traveling with Chris and Bev! We also enjoyed the time we spent with family in Arizona!
Arizona Vacation 9, California Elk
After leaving Arizona we traveled across California to the coast. We had to stop along a freeway off-ramp, so Chris picked some flowers.
California has some very beautiful hills!
The Redwoods were stunning even in the rain, and we loved the scenic California coast!
We stayed at Elk Country RV in northern California.

The big bulls were down the road a ways.
The next morning we took Bill to see the big bulls but they had moved out of sight.
The cows that stayed near us in camp were quite entertaining.
This bull was along the main highway as we headed north toward Oregon.

Arizona Vacation 7, Rock Hounding
This great guy (Pat) is a gold panner and rock hound. My sister found out about him and asked if he might take us to find some rocks. He was happy to, and we sure did have fun! He told us to watch out for scorpions, rattle snakes, javelina, gila monsters, and wild cattle!

Candy
The terrain did not look like much, but upon close inspection you could find a variety of rocks. We found galena, quartz (including rose quartz), Apache tears, geodes, chalcedony, and a few others.

Arizona Vacation 6, Sedona
We left our campground and took a side trip to Sedona just north of us. Gorgeous red rock country!

The sky was beautiful on our way back to the camp ground in White Tank Mountain Regional Park. There were hot air balloons in the sky.
