Day at the Beach

I spent a beautiful day with my daughter Kristin on the Oregon Coast.

As we walked on the docks in Newport, we listened to noisy sea lions and watched a Cormorant fish for his lunch.

We had a delicious lunch of clam strips and shrimp at the Chowder Bowl, and then headed up the coast. Of course, we had to make a stop at Fuddy Duddy Fudge so that we could partake of some delectable chocolate pecan fudge.

Next we stopped at Fogerty Beach and looked for agates, one of our favorite pastimes!

Gull prints showed up quite well in the course sand, and the tide was out farther than we had ever seen it.

We went to our favorite art gallery on the Oregon Coast, located in Salishan, and also took the time to photograph some flowers in the mall.

We could not resist stopping to take in the beautiful sky just before Siletz Bay, and then ended our day with pumpkin pie ice cream. Kristin took this last picture. How can you beat a day like that?
