Things have been crazy once again, so I am "catching up" by posting several events.Mom and Candy recently visited before Candy returned to Wisconsin. This is a pretty good picture of them together!
What would my blog be without a picture of a cat? This one is Penny.
Kate and I spent a day at the fair. We loved the animal barn which included these friendly sheep.We enjoyed a new display called "Creature Feature." There were many different reptiles and amphibians. Our favorite was the albino boa.

Kate and I enjoyed a leisurely ride across the fair in the cable cars.
One evening I joined a girlfriend at the Credence Clearwater Revisited concert.
The picture below shows two of the original members (drummer and bass player).
They have been working together for over 40 years!
Bill and I spent Labor Day on the coast for our traditional gathering of military friends. Sixteen of us gathered at Dick and Sheri Matson's on Siletz Bay where we had a wonderful time and enjoyed a variety of delicious foods.
