Griffin Family Reunion, 2017

Candy, Bill and I camped at the Bay City Park (Al Griffin Memorial Park, named after my dad) which became the gathering place for our first official "Griffin Family Reunion." Terry and Diane did a beautiful job of keeping the monument at the park looking beautiful by planting flowers and by keeping it weeded.

Candy took these fresh berries and made a yummy blackberry crumble!
We had fawn visitors near our campsite!
They were so beautiful and curious.

We spent some time at Terry and Diane's house visiting. They had some gorgeous flowers at their house!

 Terry built their wonderful greenhouse!

Terry showed us some of his latest masonry work. He is such an artist!

He told us the adventures of moving some of these tremendously heavy rocks!

We all made a great trip to the beach at Cape Meares. The first thing we saw was these two bald eagles in the bay.

We all had SUCH a fun time looking for agates on the beach!

We all laughed and cried as we told stories and shared fond memories of my mom and dad.

Candy did such a wonderful job of bringing us all together and facilitating memorable experiences.

We spent a few moments at the nearby graves of our great grandparents as well.
After visiting graves, we spent time at the Tillamook County Fair!
