We have a very happy daughter! She just received her Mission Call to serve in the Texas McAllen Mission. It is Spanish-speaking, so she is excited to become immersed in the language. She will leave for the Missionary Training Center in Provo, Utah on August 5, and she will serve for a year and a half. We are very excited for her!

Kate's Mission Call!
We have a very happy daughter! She just received her Mission Call to serve in the Texas McAllen Mission. It is Spanish-speaking, so she is excited to become immersed in the language. She will leave for the Missionary Training Center in Provo, Utah on August 5, and she will serve for a year and a half. We are very excited for her!

Congratulation Kate! You'll be a great missionary!
We have two young men from our ward who served in that same mission (Spanish speaking) and are good friends with our sons. Those two young men loved their mission and said the people were wonderful. Kate will have a great mission! Congratulations!!
First things first, Congrads and you will be great. Now the hard part, its hot down there. There are only three seasons down there, pre-summer, summer, post-summer.
