Bill and I left for Rexburg, Idaho to attend Kate's graduation and to bring her back to Oregon to prepare for her mission. We left very early and were privileged to start our day with this beautiful sunrise!
Megan met us in Rexburg so she could attend the graduation as well. We are pleased with the close relationships of our children! This is on the way to the graduation banquet.
While waiting to be seated for the graduation ceremony, we enjoyed the company of the parents of Kate's roommates.
Kate was pretty excited as she waited her turn.
She received her associates degree in general studies.
Bill, Kate, Becky, Megan
The next morning Bill, Becky, Megan and Kate attended the Rexburg Temple. This is not an enhanced picture. A storm was brewing, and everything looked sharper and more intense!
As we prepared to head for Oregon, Kate left behind her little apartment and some very close friends.
We took Kate to the Cousins Restaurant in The Dalles. It is well known for its good food and giant cinnamon rolls!
Kate and her dad leaving the restaurant...
We loved the drive through the beautiful Columbia Gorge!
When Mt. Hood is in your view, you know you are getting close to home!

The temple photo with the storm moving in is inspiring - a comment on the world, eh?
Wonderful pictures and great memories! Candy's remark about the temple and the world was so right on! I loved the stools at the restaurant! So cute!
