Western Bluebirds

I made an early morning trip to my neighbors' to enjoy his western bluebirds. Each year they come to the bird house he puts up. This is the female waiting for her breakfast.

As in most bird species, the male is much more colorful.

He found a big juicy bug in the garden and he is sharing it with the female.
My neighbor has a variety of bird houses to attract different birds.

I caught this little fellow on the line!

A gorgeous swallow...

A song sparrow...
A little bewick's wren singing its morning song...
