Mother's Day Tea

My mom is in a wonderful facility in Salem where she gets very loving care and she is comfortable and safe. This is Marion, one of Mom's new friends.
Maria is one of the many excellent caregivers.
Heather is the assistant administrator. She is always a bright ray of sunshine!
The residents are Mom's new friends. She also misses her old ones. This is Dorothy.

Mom never used to wear make up, but she let the caregivers make her pretty for the party :-).

Michelle is the administrator. She is trying to get Sheldon to smile. She is one special lady!
Caroline is a CHARACTER! She keeps us entertained. She's in her tea party hat.

Dorothy's daughter brought this old fashioned bouquet for the party.

I love that you took the time to take pictures of all of the residents, they are such sweet people! The caregivers too! Gram looks so cute all made up with her tea party hat in her pajamas :) I am so glad she had a good time! -Kris

What a special treat to see these photos of Aunt Betty doing things one would never suspect she'd enjoy---make-up, hats, crowds of people, a tea party. So happy that she chooses to participate and has so many friends. I recognized so many of them and have little special memories just from my infrequent visits there. If I ever have to have that special kind of care, I want to be in a home like Harmony House! Thanks so much for doing this Becky---and I love the photo of you and Aunt Betty in your hats!
