AZ, UT Vacation Part 4: Buckskin Gulch Slot Canyon

From Phoenix we drove to Kanab, UT and stayed in a cute little "retro" hotel.

What is this bird?

We drove to Wire Pass trail head and hiked into Buckskin Gulch, a series of amazing slot canyons!

We saw some pretty interesting petroglyphs.

About 3 miles into the canyons we began to encounter little pools of water and had to tread carefully.

We turned around and headed back when the water became deeper.
