Waldport Bay

We stopped at the Waldport Bridge Interpretive Center located on the south end of the new bridge.

There were pictures of the Alsi Indians and their culture when they used to inhabit the area.

This picture shows the timber falseworks on the old Waldport Bridge. They were erected before concrete was poured and steel reinforcements were added.

A crowd gathered to celebrate the completion of the old bridge.
A photograph of the old Waldport Bridge.

An old photograph of cars on the beach.
