Beautiful Logan Canyon

Bill and I had the opportunity to drive up Logan Canyon to Bear Lake with Will and the two youngest grandchildren, Drew and Luke. The whole trip was a visual feast!

Dainty rose hips--a fall decoration

Drew, Luke, Bill and Will enjoying a trail at a campground

Bill took this picture as we drove over a bridge.
Papa is pointing out the view to Grandson Luke.

More of Nature's art!

Fall puts on such a gorgeous display!

Drew and Luke with their dad. They were very happy to get out of the car!

A peaceful campground up the canyon; I loved these graceful trees.
A blanket of leaves

White Aspen and contrasting fall colors
A brilliant display!

Powdered sugar snow
Bill took this shot of the arching branches over the road.

Wonderful contrasting trunks and limbs
Can't you just smell the fresh air and hear the bubbling stream? (Bill's shot)

Fall at her best...
Someone got sleepy!

Vacation homes at Bear Lake

The boys weren't sure if they wanted to go near this statue at first. However, inside the cafe awaited milkshakes and french fries!

A nearby park provided an outlet for pent up energy...
More powdered sugar snow with a beautiful, bright surprise

Another one of Bill's shots of a clear stream surrounded by the vibrant aspen leaves
The last thing Will told me was that he wanted to make another trip up the canyon in a couple of weeks to take more pictures and make me jealous! I know the colors will be even more amazing, and I hope he makes the opportunity to go!
