Driving Along Tillamook Bay

Later in the week Mom and I decided to take a drive up the coast. Although it was kind of a "gray" drissly day, there was plenty to see. The "bite wasn't on" but we watched these "die hard" fisherman at Hobsonville Point, just south of Garibaldi. I love visiting the coast in any weather!

When we reached the jetty at Barview, we saw these horseback riders. I had to wonder what the horses thought of all of that surf!
There were some fishermen by the "Three Graces" and we talked to a scuba diver who showed us some of his catch (a green Ling Cod). The rocks on the right are covered with pelicans.

It was beautiful watching the waves whipped by the wind.
This boat got a Silver Salmon on near the bar, but they had to let it go. It was not a "legal" catch.

Letting the fish go...
