Everyone was here for Christmas except Will and Julie and their children. We missed them.
This is a little piano that Jesse received from his mom and dad.
It was very fun to have a little one here for Christmas.

The mess afterward
We were still out of power so this is my bowl of jello salad setting up in the snow!
We started out with these yummy salads: on the left is organic greens with roasted pine nuts, pomegranate seeds, Wensleydale cheese, and raspberry dressing (a wonderful combination of flavors and textures!); on the right is a cold slaw topped with tiny shrimp (another favorite).
WE GOT OUR POWER BACK ON CHRISTMAS DAY...HALLELUJAH!!! It made preparing the rest of Christmas dinner much easier (although I cooked the turkey the day before at Kristin's apartment).
